Situated in the famed Langhe and Roero wine area of Piedmont, Ceretto winery is synonymous with a constant search for excellence. For over half a century the winery has been recognized for the high quality of its products, and they are seen as key ambassadors of Piedmont and Italy around the world. Founded in Alba in 1937 by Riccardo Cerreto in an old 19th Century farmhouse, the company has expanded into a grandiose winery, that boasts two other farms in Castiglione Falletto and Barbaresco, and produces wine varieties (through certified organic methods since 2015!) ranging from Barbaresco DOCGs to Barbera DOCs, Langhe DOCs to Nebbiolo d’Alba DOCs. But at Ceretto, it’s not all about the wine (though that is a big part of it!), for as well as their range of wine tastings and tours (they even often guided wine trekking tours!), the Ceretto family are also passionate about food – being one of the key players in protecting Piedmont IGP hazelnuts with their Relanghe project – and contemporary art, and have invested in varies architectural and artistic projects which you should definitely visit after you have explored their winery.
