» Signature: Twelve Bristish travel consultants stayed at Cowboy Connection, north of Montgomery, Texas. Their eyes grew BIG as we talked of the $1.35 Billion Wine Industry in Texas. They were fascinated with Texas' proudction of various wines as evidenced by the ten differnet Texas wines they tasted. Needless to say, theses Brits found great Texas wines and an earful as I outlined how Texas was following in California's footsteps in 1976 with the great wines they were tasting. Needless to say, these British travelers were astonished by what Texas is quietly doing. Too bad, we Texans drink most of our wine with very few wines ever making it past Texas borders.
